How to Apply for the Credit
Competencies
Digital Media and Movie Making (DM3): 3 credits, lower division level
How can digital media and movie making be used to educate and entertain, in a way comparable to, or better than, the traditional media formats of the past? This course develops skills in creativity, storytelling and digital media literacy while establishing student knowledge of the ever-expanding digital media and move making industry. Working in a project-based learning environment, students will form a production company and complete a variety of digital media and movie making projects that are presented to a panel of industry professionals and college faculty at the CT Student Innovation Exposition. Participants will also have an opportunity to submit content to the Connecticut Student Film Festival.
