The Connecticut Credit Assessment Program (CCAP) at Charter Oak conducts credit reviews of non-collegiate instruction, making credit recommendations for successful completers and increasing students' access to nontraditional credit. Students may apply to receive the recommended credit on a Charter Oak transcript, either as transfer credit toward a Charter Oak degree or on the Charter Oak Credit Registry. Non-Charter Oak students must use the Credit Registry service for a transcript; associated fees are posted on the Undergraduate Current Fees page in the online College Catalog.
Standards
As a founding member of the Consortium for the Assessment of College Equivalence (CACE), Charter Oak adheres to the CACE Standards for the Assessment of Non-Collegiate Instruction.
