About the Training Sponsor

Aetna is one of the nation's leading diversified health care benefits companies, offering a broad range of health insurance products and related services. Reviews have been conducted on central development, claim delivery, and call delivery to train personnel. Each of these training groups supports a different part of the organization. The claim delivery organization supports CPSO (Claim and Provider Service Operations). Their main function is to deliver training to staff within this organization. The call delivery organization supports MAPSS (Member and Plan Sponsor Services). Their main function is to deliver training to staff within this organization. The central development organization develops the training that is delivered by the delivery training organizations. In addition, the central development organization is responsible for developing self-paced, technology-based training for existing staff. This training is designed to be delivered without the assistance of a trainer.
